About Diablo 5
When does Diablo 5 release?
Blizzard has confirmed a release window of Spring 2029. There is no exact date yet. Regular development updates are planned from 2027 onwards.
Which classes are in Diablo 5?
Three classes have been revealed so far: the Demon Hunter (dual crossbows, ranged, returning from Diablo III), the Monk (martial arts melee with divine powers, returning from Diablo III) and the brand-new Plague Knight, built around disease and pestilence. Further classes will be revealed in Blizzard's updates.
What is Diablo 5 about?
The heroes of the past have failed. Sanctuary has fallen and Diablo has won. He rules from the throne of Westmarch, and you flee as the Heir to Westmarch through a devastated Sanctuary that Diablo actively reshapes — terrain, points of interest, monsters and rewards can change when you return.
Which platforms will Diablo 5 be on?
Platforms have not been announced yet. We will update the release page as soon as Blizzard confirms them.
When and where was Diablo 5 announced?
Diablo V was announced at BlizzCon 2026 with a teaser trailer, three classes and the story premise. The official site is diablo5.blizzard.com.

What will d5guides.gg offer at launch?
The same tools that power d4guides.gg are planned for Diablo V: a build planner, a tier list, an item database and guides. They go live with the game.
Is the site free?
Yes, completely free — no paywalls, no premium tier. The site is funded by advertising.
Is the site available in German?
Yes. Every page exists in English and German; use the language switch in the header.

Do I need to register?
No, everything is readable without an account. An account is only needed to write community news or maintain a public profile.
